Our Hostel is located about 30min walk from the city center. Our Hostelground is on the slope of Mount Meru and close to the river, which comes down from the Big Meru Mountain. That makes our Home for you a really green place.

We gave our Hostel two names “Karibu“ and „Hostel“. Karibu is standing for Welcoming you in Tanzania. We choose the Kiswahili word for welcome, because we would like to give you the acces to the contact with local families and communities, where the spoken language is Kiswahili. „Hostel“ is standing for intercultural community. A Hostel is a place where people from all over the world come together to adventure in a new Country and a new Culture..

Our Hostel was built with the Help of local people of the community and with the help of the Kids of the Neighbourhood Project. In this way we are trying to support the local Community and the Kids of our Neighbourhood!
Karibu Hostel Arusha and the Rooms

The House is surounded with a Big Garden. There is a place to eat and chill outside and a BBQ Place for you to use.

We have 3 Single Room and one Double Room.
The Rooms have different styles: you can choose between the Tanzania Chumba, the Flower Chumba, the Peace Chumba or the Red Suite(Double Room).

The House has a Bathroom wih Hot shower and two seperated toilets

There is also a sitting room with TV and DVD Player and couches to chill.

The last Room is the place where we will serve you the Breakfast and the Dinner

Breakfast and Dinner:
Our Breakfast ist served in the garden or in the Dining room, depending on the weather and ur wishes.
For Breakfast we serve Fruits, Yoghurt, Chai and Bred, Eggs, .. depending on your wishes and varied every day.

For the Dinner we have mixed cuisine: we serve tanzania food, but also „international cuisine“ and vegetarian Food. Every Dinner is including salad, vegetables or fruits.
